I want the app to work offline. It won't have full functionality, but you should be able to save content for offline reading. This is a pretty major change, and I'd like to do this before I tackle movies/series.

  • Button on content to save for offline reading
    • On series, you should be able to say "save the next X entries" (a one time action, automatic option below)
    • Should give an estimate of download size, and currently used data
  • Library filter: (Not) Saved for offline use
  • Marker on content when saved
  • Task in the tasks indicator/tracker for download progress
    • Should be pausable
  • Page in settings to manage downloaded content
  • Seamless transition between online/offline modes
  • Setting to automatically keep the next X volumes/chapters from your current reading position downloaded
  • Keep track and upload reading progress once internet is available again
