Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Instead of connecting to a single tests db, we create a "voltis_..." (random) db and drop it later. That way, we can run the tests for all packages in parallel instead of one at a time.
